Announcing the winners of the Oral Health Awards 2018
on 27th December 2018
After last year’s inaugural ceremony, the Oral Health Awards had a tough act to follow – but follow it they did!
The leaders of prevention and innovation in oral health came together for an afternoon that celebrated all that is good in dental hygiene and therapy in the UK. And at Oral Health, we couldn’t be more proud to celebrate alongside the finalists.
Backed by generous support from the event’s partners – GSK, Listerine, Optident, Philips and Oral-B – we pulled out all the stops to do the profession justice.
With the fizz flowing and no shortage of laughter, the atmosphere remained electric throughout the afternoon.
In addition to a delicious lunch, attendees to the ceremony were gifted goodie bags, with a selection of treats from some of the Oral Health Awards partners.
The ceremony covered all aspects of preventive care, from hygiene and therapy itself to the treatment of nervous patients and work done in local communities. Principals even got a look in too, with the Leader of Prevention award recognising the efforts of dentists to support effective skill mix and promote the work of team members within their practices.
Champions of Prevention
Happy Kids Dental stole the show, taking home the overall award – Oral Health’s Champions of Prevention.
The Oral Health Awards were designed to recognise excellence and endeavour in oral care, and the entrants made that an easy task.
Congratulations to all the finalists and winners!
